Farmers' Insurance Class Action Going to Trial

On March 20, 2009, a class notice was mailed to Farmers' Insurance policyholders who were charged more for insurance based on their credit scores, but were not provided the notice{C}required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

The Farmers' Insurance policyholders that are members of the class are seeking to recover between $14 and $140 million. There are over 144,000 class members in the class.
