STOLL BERNE represents a class of policyholders who allege they were charged more for insurance based on their credit scores, but did not receive the notice required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

On April 24, 2008, STOLL BERNE filed a class action against Fidelity National Title Insurance Company alleging that consumers were charged title insurance premiums that exceeded the rates mandated by Oregon law.

On April 18, 2008, STOLL BERNE filed a class action against Sprint for charging consumers for services the consumer did not order.

On August 27, 2007, checks in the amount of approximately $175.00 were mailed to over 340,000 class members in a nationwide multi-million dollar class action settlement between Hartford Fire Insurance Company and its policyholders. This amounts to an aggregate amount of over $59 million.

On November 9, 2006, a $19.25 million settlement on behalf of 65,000 automobile policyholders with Nationwide was given final approval by the Oregon Federal District Court.

Stoll Berne has filed a class action complaint against United Parcel Service, Inc. ("UPS") on behalf of persons and entities who have shipped packages with UPS and were subsequently invoiced for shipping charge corrections relating to a package's dimensions.

Stoll Berne filed eight proposed class actions against insurance companies (Farmers, State Farm, Safeco, Nationwide, GEICO, Progressive, Hartford and Valley Insurance Company) for violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
